George grew up on a small farm west of Fort Macleod. He enjoyed playing multiple sports for FP Walshe High School.
George attended the University of Lethbridge, earning a B.Sc. in Biochemistry. He then went on to attend the Doctor of Optometry program at the University of Waterloo. In 2008, he moved back to Lethbridge and joined the team at Optical Studio and is very happy with his decision. He loves coming to work in such a friendly and up-to-date office, and really appreciates having a great mentor in Dr. Jim Asuchak.
When not at work, George enjoys training for sprint triathlons with his wife Jen, and snowboarding in the mountains.
